About DiverseVET
Driving Inclusion and Innovation in Vocational Excellence for SMEs
DiverseVET is a European cooperation project funded by the European Union, focused on strengthening diversity, inclusion and vocational excellence across the green and digital sectors. It supports vocational education providers, SMEs, trainers, learners and policymakers in building more inclusive and future-oriented skills ecosystems across Europe.
Implemented by a European partnership involving organisations from Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Lithuania and Belgium, DiverseVET brings together shared expertise and a common commitment to making vocational education more inclusive, accessible and better connected to the needs of today’s economy.
Why Inclusive Vocational Education Matters Now
Changing Labour Markets
Persistent Participation Barriers
The Approach
Connecting Education, Business and Communities Across Europe
DiverseVET brings together vocational education providers, businesses, entrepreneurs, policymakers and local communities to create more inclusive opportunities for learning and work. The project focuses on helping people develop the skills needed for the green and digital economy, while ensuring that everyone has a fair opportunity to participate, grow and succeed.
To achieve this, DiverseVET develops practical tools, training programmes and collaboration opportunities supporting educators, learners, SMEs and entrepreneurs. Key information is made available in plain language and accessible formats. The project also creates spaces for dialogue, knowledge sharing and cooperation between education, business and community stakeholders across Europe.

The CoVEs serve as local hubs for collaboration, helping stakeholders develop inclusive learning opportunities, identify emerging skills needs and create stronger links between education and the labour market. They focus on inclusive vocational training, green and digital skills, SME cooperation, innovation activities, community engagement and lifelong learning.
